Ian Kinsler homered twice and C.J. Wilson outdueled Felix Hernandez as the Texas Rangers increased their season-best winning streak to 10 games with a 5-1 victory over the host Seattle Mariners on Saturday.

Kinsler led off the game with a homer off Hernandez (8-8) and added another in the eighth as Texas handed Seattle its season-worst eighth straight loss.

Wilson (10-3) gave up one run and five hits in seven innings while beating Hernandez for the second time this season. Wilson struck out seven and walked three.

Hernandez gave up four runs and nine hits in 7 2/3 innings. He struck out six and walked one.

Texas added two runs in the eighth after Kinsler’s 15th homer of the season. Josh Hamilton drove in one on a groundout and Michael Young added a run-scoring double.

Seattle ended a 30-inning scoring drought in the fifth when Franklin Gutierrez singled, stole second and scored on Ichiro Suzuki’s two-out single.

Texas regained the lead in the sixth on Elvis Andrus’ single. Andrus and Endy Chavez each had three hits for the Rangers.
