Orioles 10, Yankees 6: Adam Jones hit a tiebreaking home run in the bottom of the eighth inning and red-hot Mark Reynolds followed with his second blast of the game as host Baltimore pulled into a tie with New York atop the American League East.

Mark Wieters clubbed a three-run homer while Robert Andino and Chris Davis added solo shots for the Orioles, who used six homers to overcome blowing a five-run lead in the top of the eighth.

Jones hit his 28th homer leading off the eighth against David Robertson (1-6) before Reynolds and Davis went back-to-back as Baltimore won for the 10th time in 13 games.

Darren O'Day (7-1) retired one batter before Orioles closer Jim Johnson pitched a scoreless ninth to send New York to its 11th loss in 16 games and improve Baltimore's record to 61-0 when leading after seven innings.

Reynolds homered for the third straight game and continued his torrid binge with his seventh and eighth blasts in the last seven games, including three multi-homer efforts against the Yankees.

Wieters jump-started Baltimore with a three-run shot following Jones' RBI single for a 4-0 first-inning lead. Andino and Reynolds went deep to make it 6-1 after six innings.

The Yankees clawed back in the eighth, parlaying four walks, an RBI double by Alex Rodriguez, a run-scoring single from Curtis Granderson and Ichiro Suzuki's tying two-run single off Pedro Strop.
