Marlins 5, Indians 3: Josh Johnson threw seven innings of one-run ball, and Greg Dobbs went 3-for-4 for his first multi-hit game of the season to lead Miami in the rubber game of a three-game series at Progressive Field.

The Marlins have won 14 of 19 and have not lost a series since dropping two of three to Arizona from April 28-30. The Indians lost for only the second time in seven games.

The Indians had two on with one out in the ninth when closer Heath Bell came on to preserve a 5-1 lead. Jose Lopez greeted him with an RBI double off the wall in center, and the Indians scored another run on Casey Kotchman's groundout, but Bell got Shin-Soo Choo to fly out to left for his fifth save.

Derek Lowe (6-2) entered the day with the best ERA in the American League, but the Marlins got to him early. Jose Reyes led off the game with a double and scored on Hanley Ramirez's groundout, and Dobbs made it 2-0 on an RBI double in the third.

Miami broke it open with a three-run eighth against the bullpen. Jeremy Accardo surrendered an RBI double to Logan Morrison and an RBI single to Brett Hayes before Chris Coghlan capped the scoring with an RBI fielder's choice.

That was enough support for Johnson (2-3), who allowed only one hit over the first four innings. The Indians finally broke through on Jose Lopez's RBI single in the fifth, but they were unable to convert a big opportunity in the seventh, leaving runners and second and third.

Johnson gave up five hits and two walks while striking out four. Lowe allowed two runs on six hits over six innings.

Choo extended his hitting streak to eight games with a single in the third.
