The Marlins knocked out Reds ace Johnny Cueto (17-9) early, getting to him for six runs on nine hits in 4 1/3 innings. Miami jumped on Cueto for three in the first inning - sparked by Stanton's two-run triple - and chased him with a three-run fifth. Lee capped the onslaught with his ninth home run.
The Reds remained 11 games ahead of St. Louis in the National League Central after the Cardinals dropped a 4-3 decision to the Los Angeles Dodgers later on Saturday.
Buehrle (13-12) struck out seven and allowed four runs on seven hits. The Reds chased him in the seventh, when Joey Votto doubled with two outs and Ryan Ludwick followed with a two-run homer - his 26th of the season and his first since Aug. 18. Mike Dunn recorded the final out in the eighth and Steve Cishek struck out two in the ninth for his 14th save.
Jose Reyes went 3-for-4 with an RBI double and scored twice for the Marlins, who clinched their first series win at home since taking two of three from San Diego from July 27-29.
