Indians 3, Reds 2 (10): Asdrubal Cabrera hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the 10th to lift Cleveland to its sixth straight home win over in-state rival Cincinnati.

The Reds took a 2-1 lead when Chris Heisey scored on a wild pitch in the top of the 10th, but Cabrera hit his seventh homer off Aroldis Chapman (4-3) in the bottom of the inning to help the Indians move into first place in the American League Central by one-half game over the Chicago White Sox.

Cincinnati took a 1-0 lead on Heisey's RBI single in the first but did not score again until the 10th. The Indians tied it on Casey Kotchman's RBI single in the fourth.

The Reds loaded the bases with two outs in the seventh against Indians starter Josh Tomlin, but Esmil Rogers came on and struck out Devin Mesoraco to end the threat and preserve the 1-1 tie.

Reds starter Mike Leake held the Indians to one run on six hits over seven innings. He retired the last 11 batters he faced and matched a career high with 114 pitches.

Tomlin went 6 2/3 innings, allowing one run on six hits.

Nick Hagadone (1-0) was the winner for the Indians, who have not lost at home against the Reds since 2010.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Reds first baseman Joey Votto hit his league-leading 30th double and is on pace for a major-league record 72 doubles. … Votto extended his hitting streak to eight games, and teammate Brandon Phillips extended his streak to nine games.
