Brewers 3, Reds 1: Mike Fiers and Jim Henderson combined on a three-hitter and Aramis Ramirez belted a two-run homer as host Milwaukee handed National League Central-leading Cincinnati its third straight loss.

Rookie Jean Segura recorded his first career RBI for the Brewers, who extended their home winning streak to five games.

Fiers (6-4) was dominant early as he retired the first 18 batters before Zack Cozart led off the seventh inning with a double. The 27-year-old, who yielded one run on three hits and struck out seven without a walk, has allowed a total of seven runs in 61 frames over his last nine starts.

Henderson tossed a perfect ninth for his first career save.

Ramirez gave Fiers an early cushion, crushing a 1-0 offering from Johnny Cueto over the wall in left-center field for his 15th blast of the season and third in five games.

After Brandon Phillips lifted a sacrifice fly in the seventh to halve Cincinnati's deficit, Rickie Weeks led off the bottom half with a double and scored two batters later on Segura's groundout for a 3-1 advantage.

Cueto (14-6) failed to grab a share of the major-league lead in victories despite allowing just three runs and six hits over seven innings. The right-hander, who fanned nine without issuing a walk, lost for the first time in seven decisions.

Cozart scored the lone run for the Reds, who have lost three straight for the first time since July 3-5. Cincinnati maintained its 3 1/2-game division lead over Pittsburgh, which lost to Arizona.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Ramirez's home run was Milwaukee's 19th in its last nine home games. The Brewers have gone deep only seven times in their last eight contests on the road. The blast also was Ramirez's NL-leading 54th extra-base hit. ... Cincinnati RHP Nick Masset, who has been sidelined all season with a sprained shoulder, threw 21 pitches in a rehab assignment with Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday. ... The Reds announced they will retire Hall of Fame SS Barry Larkin's No. 11 prior to their game against St. Louis on Aug. 25.
