Rays 10, Blue Jays 4: Matt Moore overcame a shaky outing to remain unbeaten and Tampa Bay chased Ricky Romero early in a one-sided win over visiting Toronto.

Moore (6-0) limited Toronto to a pair of runs despite surrendering six hits and four walks over five innings. Kelly Johnson homered among his three hits and Evan Longoria also went deep in the victory.

Romero (0-2) allowed six Rays to reach base while recording just one out in the shortest outing of his career. The struggling left-hander, making his second start of the year following a stint at extended spring training, fell to 1-15 in his last 19 outings dating back to last season.

Edwin Encarnacion put Toronto ahead in the first, lining a shot over the center-field wall with Melky Cabrera aboard for his 10th home run. The Rays answered in the bottom half, loading the bases with none out before Longoria golfed an RBI single to left field, James Loney followed with a run-scoring hit and Luke Scott chased Romero with an RBI single to right.

Ben Zobrist extended the lead with an RBI single in the second, and Longoria made it 6-2 in the fourth with a blast just inside the left-field foul pole that brought home Zobrist ahead of him. Johnson added to the onslaught with a two-run blast into the right-field seats as part of a four-run sixth and Toronto fell well short in its quest for a third straight come-from-behind victory.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Romero was the first non-injured Blue Jays starter to last just one-third of an inning since Esteban Loaiza in 2001. ... The Toronto bullpen has been forced to throw 15 1/3 innings over the past two games after Tuesday starter J.A. Happ took a line drive to the head and was carried out on a stretcher after recording just four outs. Happ was hospitalized after suffering a fractured skull and a cut on his ear, but was released Wednesday afternoon. ... Moore has surrendered at least one home run in each of his last five starts.
