J.P. Crawford and Mitch Haniger hit solo home runs as the Seattle Mariners defeated the visiting Texas Rangers 3-2 Saturday night.

The victory was the third in a row for the Mariners and their fifth in the past six games.

Texas suffered its 11th consecutive road defeat. The Rangers also have lost 11 straight at T-Mobile Park, with their last win in Seattle coming on July 23, 2019.

Crawford broke a 1-1 tie with a solo shot to right field leading off the bottom of the seventh against Rangers right-hander Mike Foltynewicz (1-5). Foltynewicz allowed two runs on six hits in seven innings, with one walk and two strikeouts.

Haniger went deep off Texas left-hander Joely Rodriguez with one out in the eighth to make it 3-1.

Left-hander Daniel Zamora (1-0), making his Mariners debut, got the victory with 1 1/3 scoreless innings of relief.

Right-hander Rafael Montero worked out of a jam in the ninth inning -- allowing two singles and a Nick Solak sacrifice fly -- against his former team to earn his seventh save of the season.

Mariners starter Justin Dunn, a right-hander, allowed one run on two hits in 5 2/3 innings with two walks and eight strikeouts.

The Mariners opened the scoring in the second. Kyle Lewis led off with a single and Ty France walked. Crawford grounded into a double play, with Lewis reaching third on the play. Jose Godoy then lined a run-scoring single to left field.

The Rangers tied the score in the fourth. Isiah Kiner-Falefa led off the inning and was hit by a pitch before Nate Lowe walked. Dunn struck out Adolis Garcia, who is tied for the major league lead with 16 home runs, but then walked Joey Gallo to load the bases. Solak hit a sacrifice fly to right field to make it 1-1 before Dunn got Brock Holt to ground out to second to end the threat.
