D.J. Augustin drained a left-elbow jumper with 1.2 seconds left to help the Charlotte Bobcats snap a six-game losing streak with a 105-103 victory over the host New Jersey Nets on Monday.

It looked like the Bobcats (33-48) were in good shape thanks to Boris Diaw. They took an 81-73 advantage into the fourth quarter as Diaw keyed a third-period run with 10 points over a six-minute span, and he hit two crucial buckets down the stretch in the fourth.

But on a late sideline inbounds play, Nets sharpshooter Sasha Vujacic found himself wide open in the right corner and drained a 3-pointer to tie it at 103 with 10.9 seconds left.

Augustin used a pick to isolate himself against Nets center Brook Lopez. The point guard used a few quick dribbles to get some space and drained the jumper with Lopez a few feet away. The Nets couldn’t get a shot off before the buzzer sounded.

Dante Cunningham had a career-high 21 points, Diaw had 20 and Augustin 19 and 11 assists for Charlotte, which also snapped a six-game road losing streak.

Brook Lopez scored 34 points for the Nets (24-57), who closed their home season 19-22 and have lost 10 of 11 and 14 of 16 overall.
