Pau Gasol had 30 points and seven rebounds and Kobe Bryant added 23 points as the Los Angeles Lakers earned a 108-103 victory over the Toronto Raptors to remain perfect Friday night at Staples Center.

The Lakers (6-0) have won nine in a row at home against Toronto (1-4).

Los Angeles had difficulty putting the Raptors away. Bargnani pulled the Raptors to 97-94 before baskets by Gasol and Derek Fisher gave the Lakers a 101-94 lead with 2:43 remaining. Gasol and Bryant kept the Raptors at bay after that with free throws.

Leandro Barbosa led Toronto with 17 points while Amir Johnson had 12 points and 15 rebounds. DeMar DeRozan scored 15 points, Andrea Bargnani chipped in with 14 and Jose Calderon had 14 points and eight assists.

Toronto had a 48-31 rebound advantage, led by Johnson's 15 and Reggie Evans' 14.

Bryant (9,019) moved past Jerry West (9,016) into second place for Lakers' career field goals.
