Jose Barea scored 25 points on 9-of-12 shooting off the bench as the Dallas Mavericks dominated the second half en route to a 112-105 home victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday.

Jason Terry scored 28 points while Tyson Chandler added 21 and Dirk Nowitzki 20 for the Mavericks, who went over 100 points for just the third time this month while putting together back-to-back wins.

The Clippers learned earlier Tuesday that leading scorer Eric Gordon would miss the next 3-4 weeks due to a wrist injury.

Los Angeles led by as much as 69-58 after Baron Davis knocked down a 3-pointer with 9:49 left in the third quarter but things started turning Dallas’ way quickly thereafter. Chandler scored five straight points to spark a 23-8 run over the rest of the frame.

Nowitzki hit a pair of 3-pointers during a 14-0 burst in the fourth quarter that put the Mavericks on top, 103-86, with 6:33 to play.

Los Angeles tried to get back into it at the end, cutting it to six points with under a minute to play, but Terry hit a 3-pointer with 30 seconds left to seal it.

Rookie Blake Griffin recorded 22 points and 11 rebounds for the Clippers.
