LAKERS 116, GRIZZLIES 111 (2OT): Andrew Bynum collected 37 points and 16 rebounds and Kobe Bryant added 34 and nine as the two All-Stars took over late for Los Angeles, denying Memphis a chance to move into third place in the Western Conference.

Pau Gasol added 14 points and eight assists for the Lakers, who have won three straight.

The Grizzlies grabbed a quick lead in the second overtime but Bryant and Bynum combined for all of the points during a 10-2 run to put the Lakers back in control.

Trailing 95-90 with 2:30 left in regulation, Los Angeles put the game in the hands of its best players and was rewarded. Bryant assisted on Bynum’s dunk to cut it to 95-92 and then buried a 3-pointer to knot it at 95-95 with 1:32 left.

Bynum grabbed a rebound at the other end and the Lakers got the ball to Bryant, who found Gasol for a dunk and the lead with 50 seconds to play.

Marc Gasol ended the drought for the Grizzlies, tying it again with a shot jumper to force the first overtime.

Bryant had a chance at the buzzer in the first overtime but missed a 16-foot jumper, setting up the second extra period.

: Memphis led by as much as 17 points in the third quarter. … Marreese Speights scored 25 points to lead six players in double figures for the Grizzlies. … The Lakers attempted 34 free throws to Memphis’ five.
