Cavaliers 104, Jazz 101: Kyrie Irving scored 11 of his 20 points in the final quarter and also had 10 assists as Cleveland rallied from a 12-point, fourth-quarter deficit to stymie Utah.

Wayne Ellington scored 16 points, including the go-ahead basket as part of a game-ending 9-0 run for the Cavaliers. Tristan Thompson had 16 points and 12 rebounds, Alonzo Gee scored 15 points and Marreese Speights added 14.

Mo Williams missed a game-tying 3-point attempt at the buzzer for the Jazz, who have lost five of six games and played without center Al Jefferson (ankle) for the third straight game. Gordon Hayward scored 25 points, Enes Kanter added 17 points and Paul Millsap tallied 16.

The Jazz led by eight entering the final stanza and boosted the lead to 12 on two free throws by Derrick Favors with 7:26 to play. Cleveland battled back and five straight points by Irving pulled the Cavaliers within 101-100. Irving then stole the ball to set up Ellington’s go-ahead, fast-break dunk with 56.4 seconds left. Ellington added two free throws with 2.8 seconds left.

Utah led 51-49 at halftime and Cleveland tied the game at 55 on Irving’s basket with 7:07 left in the third quarter. Randy Foye scored 11 points during a 19-5 surge that saw the Jazz take a 74-60 on his third 3-pointer of the quarter with 1:36 remaining.
