Ryan Boatright led the way with 19 points, five assists and four steals as Connecticut snapped a four-game slide with a 69-46 victory over visiting Seton Hall on Saturday.

Jeremy Lamb added 17 points and eight rebounds and Andre Drummond blocked seven shots for the Huskies (15-7, 5-5 Big East), who were without coach Jim Calhoun due to an indefinite medical leave of absence.

Calhoun, who announced the leave on Friday, will be absent for Connecticut’s toughest stretch next week, when it visits No. 25 Louisville and No. 2 Syracuse.

The Pirates were without leading scorer and rebounded Herb Pope due to bruised ribs and dropped their sixth straight game.

The Huskies put together a dominating defensive effort on Saturday, limiting Seton Hall to 26 percent shooting, including 5 of 26 from 3-point range. They held Seton Hall without a field goal for over eight minutes during one stretch of the first half and took a 30-17 lead into the break.

The lead stretched to 48-29 with 8:32 left on the highlight of the second half, when Boatright drove the lane and lofted a pass toward the rim. Drummond leaped from the side and dunked over a pair of Pirates players, drawing a foul and converting the three-point play.

Seton Hall (15-8, 4-7) coach Kevin Willard drew a pair of technical fouls and was ejected with 3:41 left as the Huskies ran away.
