Oregon State 69, Howard 53: Eric Moreland had 14 points and 10 rebounds to help the host Beavers defeat the Bison for their fourth consecutive victory.

Roberto Nelson had 14 points and seven assists and Devon Collier added 12 points as Oregon State (8-2) improved to 6-0 at home.

Mike Phillips had 15 points and Prince Okoroh added 13 for Howard (3-9), which has lost all six of its road games.

The Bison made just 1 of their first 11 field-goal attempts while digging an early double-digit hole. Collier’s layup made it 14-2 just five-plus minutes into the contest and the Beavers used a 13-4 run later in the half to take a 12-point lead.

Oregon State led 33-23 at the break and led comfortably the entire second half. Collier hit two free throws to give the Beavers their biggest lead at 64-42 with 4:46 left.
