Seton Hall 55, South Florida 47: Brandon Mobley returned from injury and scored 14 points off the bench as the host Pirates snapped a four-game losing streak.

Mobley dislocated his shoulder in a Jan. 13 loss to Providence and originally was expected to miss the remainder of the season. He returned wearing a soft shoulder brace and made an immediate impact for the Pirates (13-6, 2-4 Big East). Fuquan Edwin led the Pirates with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Jawanza Poland paced South Florida (10-8, 1-5) with 13 points while Toarlyn Fitzpatrick added 10 points, but needed 16 shots from the field to reach that total. His shooting struggles weren't isolated as the Bulls shot 33.9 percent.

Seton Hall never trailed, but 17 turnovers prevented the Pirates from ever putting the game out of reach. South Florida was hanging around within two possessions at 53-47 after Poland's 3-pointer with 1:43 remaining, but the Bulls missed their final four shots from the field.

Seton Hall dominated the glass 35-22, with Mobley grabbing five.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Seton Hall swingman Brian Oliver, who had missed the previous five games with an ankle injury, returned and amassed nine points, two rebounds and an assist. ... Oliver and Mobley helped Seton Hall generate 25 bench points to South Florida's 15. ... South Florida struggled from 3-point range, hitting three of 19 attempts beyond the arc.
