No. 4 Florida 78, No. 16 Mississippi 64: Erik Murphy hit 5-of-6 3-pointers en route to 19 points as the host Gators ran away from the second-place Rebels.

Mike Rosario added 14 points and Patric Young collected 13 and 12 rebounds for Florida (18-2, 8-0 SEC). The Gators improved to 3-1 against ranked teams this season.

Marshall Henderson, the league's leading scorer, led Mississippi (17-4, 6-2) with 25 points. Murphy Holloway added 15 points and seven rebounds.

Murphy hit two 3-pointers during a 19-4 run in the first half on the way to a 30-14 lead. Henderson answered with back-to-back 3-pointers to get Mississippi within 35-25 with 1:35 left in the first half, but Murphy snapped the run with a 3-pointer and Scottie Wilbekin beat the buzzer with a jumper for a 40-27 lead at the break.

Murphy and Michael Frazier II pushed the lead to 60-37 with back-to-back 3-pointers before Holloway scored the first eight points of an 13-3 run to get Mississippi within 63-50 with 7:12 left. Murphy stopped that run with his fifth 3-pointer and the Gators closed it out.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Florida senior Kenny Boynton had a career-high 10 assists and two turnovers. He has 17 assists and two turnovers in his last two games. ... It was the most points the Gators have allowed in SEC play but still 16 points below the Rebels' average. ... Murphy is 11-of-14 from the 3-point line in his last three games.
