Oregon State 67, Washington State 66: Roberto Nelson scored 17 points and the visiting Beavers held off a furious rally to win the Pac-12 Conference contest.

Oregon State (13-12, 3-9 Pac-12) built a 15-point second-half lead but Washington State closed the gap to one point on a barrage of 3-pointers. Leading 64-63, Nelson, who scored 13 points in the first half, hit a layup to give the Beavers a three-point lead.

D.J. Shelton, who had just hit a pair of 3-pointers, missed a potential game-tying shot with seven seconds left and Langston Morris-Walker put the game away with a free throw.

Eric Moreland scored 11 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for the Beavers, who split the season series. Challe Barton also scored 11 for Oregon State, which moved out of a tie with Washington State for last place in the conference.

DaVonte Lacy led Washington State (11-14, 2-10) with 27 points, including seven 3-pointers. Brock Motum had 16 and Royce Woolridge added 10. The Cougars played without starting point guard Mike Ladd due to a left knee injury. Ladd scored a career-high 23 points in the team's first meeting of the season, a 71-68 Cougar win.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Joe Burton hit a jumper to give Oregon State a 9-7 lead early in the first half and the Beavers never trailed again.
