Washington 68, Arizona State 59: Scott Suggs scored a game-high 16 points, including a back-breaking 3-pointer in the final minute, as the visiting Huskies delivered a big blow to the Sun Devils' NCAA tournament hopes in a Pac-12 Conference game.
Washington, which swept the season series, got a basket from Andrew Andrews' late in the first half and never trailed again. Washington led 32-28 at the break and built a 13-point lead on a layup by Abdul Gaddy with 11:20 left.
Arizona State later went on a 9-0 run to cut the deficit to a point as Washington went nearly six minutes without a field goal. But soon after, the Sun Devils missed a pair of 3-pointers which would have tied the game before Suggs delivered the dagger with a 3-pointer from the corner.
Gaddy and Andrews scored 13 points apiece for the Huskies (15-13, 7-8 Pac-12) who snapped a five-game losing streak on the road.
Ruslan Pateev, Jahii Carson and Evan Gordon all scored 10 points for Arizona State (20-8, 9-6), but Carson was 3-of-14 from the field and his high-scoring sidekick - Carrick Felix - finished with eight points on 2-of-6 shooting. Carson had 32 points in the first meeting.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Washington turned the ball over only seven times in the game and twice in the second half. ...The Huskies outrebounded the Sun Devils 35-22. ... Arizona State plays its final three games of the regular season on the road.
