No. 14 Memphis 77, Southeast Missouri State 65: Shaq Goodwin scored 20 points in an dazzling and efficient all-around performance as the host Tigers rebounded from a rare loss by defeating the Redhawks.

Goodwin shot 10-of-12 from the field while adding eight rebounds, four steals, three assists and two blocks. Joe Jackson scored 16 points in a complementary role and chipped in five assists, four rebounds and four steals for Memphis (8-2), which had won six straight games before losing to Florida 77-75 on Tuesday.

For Southeast Missouri State, 86 percent of its offense came from three players - Tyler Stone (23 points), Jarekious Bradley (19) and Antonius Cleveland (14). The Redhawks (7-4) shot a respectable 45 percent against the athletic Tigers and dominated on the glass, but they ultimately were doomed by 19 turnovers.

Memphis held a 22-21 lead when Jackson scored six points during an 8-0 run that created some breathing room for the Tigers, who went on to lead 38-30 at the break. Early in the second half, layups by Stone and Bradley and a 3-pointer by Bradley kept the Redhawks within striking distance, but the Tigers scored 10 of the next 13 points to take a 54-40 lead.

Southeast Missouri State got within seven points with under eight minutes to play, but Chris Crawford's 3-pointer highlighted a 7-0 run that essentially ended any potential drama. Crawford was 2-of-9 from 3-point range, while his teammates were 0-of-8.
