Minnesota 65, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 44: Andre Hollins had 18 points as the Golden Gophers remained undefeated at home.
Austin Hollins added 13 points and eight rebounds for Minnesota (11-2), which improved to 9-0 at home. The Gophers forced 18 turnovers and outrebounded Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 43-33.
Jeff Beverly led Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (3-10) with 10 points. John Jordan added five points, nine rebounds and three assists for the Islanders, who have lost eight in a row.
The Gophers never trailed after an early 18-2 run pushed Minnesota to a 20-6 advantage 8:26 in. Austin Hollins hit a pair of 3-pointers late in the half before the Islanders scored the half's last four points to get within 32-21.
Andre Hollins and Oto Osenieks hit back-to-back 3-pointers as Minnesota outscored the Islanders 18-3 in the first 9:19 of the second half. Hollins and Daquein McNeil added back-to-back 3-pointers in the final three minutes as Minnesota finished the rout with a 10-4 spurt.
