Texas A&M 68, LSU 62: Danuel House led the way with 20 points as the Aggies held off the visiting Tigers in a battle of SEC bubble teams.

Kourtney Roberson posted his second double-double of the season with 16 points and 11 rebounds for Texas A&M (18-7, 9-4 SEC), which completed a two-game sweep of the regular-season series. Jalen Jones added 10 points and seven boards as the Aggies built up a 38-31 advantage on the glass against the best rebounding team in the conference.

Jarell Martin had 13 points and Keith Hornsby scored 11 as LSU (18-8, 7-6) fell for the fourth time in six games. Tim Quarterman collected nine points, eight assists and five steals for the Tigers.

House scored eight points and handed out an assist in a 12-0 run that put Texas A&M on top 54-50 but LSU scored the next six points as it went back and forth down the stretch. Roberson’s three-point play with 1:53 left snapped a deadlock and the Tigers could not manage a field goal over the final five minutes as the Aggies closed it out at the free-throw line.

House buried three 3-pointers in the first 8 1/2 minutes to help Texas A&M to a 21-10 lead before LSU woke up with a 24-5 run to grab the lead. The Tigers settled for a 36-31 advantage at the break and led by eight after Brian Bridgewater’s free throw with just over 12 minutes to play.

GAME NOTEBOOK: LSU F Jordan Mickey blocked two shots to reach 200 for his career but struggled to 2-of-9 from the floor. … The Aggies’ nine wins in conference are their most since joining the SEC in the 2012-13 season. … Texas A&M G Alex Caruso committed seven of his team’s 13 turnovers, including five in the first half.
