Duane Wilson's three-point play with 15 seconds left in overtime sealed Marquette's 75-71 victory over IUPUI Monday night at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.

Wilson had 15 points for the Golden Eagles (1-1), who also got 18 from forward Henry Ellenson and 17 from center Luke Fisher.

Guard Darrell Combs led the Jaguars with 21 points while forward Nick Osborne added 14 and guard Mason Archie finished with 11.

Archie converted a four-point play with 3:29 left that put the Jaguars ahead 65-64. Marquette responded with a 3-pointer from forward Sandy Cohen III, and two free throws by Ellenson put Marquette ahead 69-64. IUPUI tied the game at 69-69 after Archie sank a pair from the stripe and Nick Osborne hit a layup with 38 seconds left.

Both teams had a chance to win it in the closing seconds of regulation, but Marquette's Wilson was short on a 3-pointer from the left wing, and Combs couldn't get a shot off before time expired.

Despite shooting 36 percent in the first half, IUPUI went into the break tied at 47-47 by hitting 6 of 6 attempt from the free throw line and six from beyond the 3-point arc.

Marquette shot 56 percent in the first 20 minutes, but committed 13 turnovers and missed five of its first six attempts from distance.
