Cincinnati ripped off a fourth straight dominant win, beating Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions 99-50 on Sunday.
Cincinnati opened the game on a 21-2 run, shattering any hope of an upset for Arkansas-Pine Bluff. By the time the Golden Lions reached double digits, the Bearcats already held a 37-11 lead and the dominance came on a possession-to-possession basis.
Cincinnati scored in bunches and has 90 points in all but one of four games this season.
Defense continues to shine, forcing Arkansas-Pine Bluff into 30 turnovers while holding the Golden Lions to 31-percent from the field and 29-percent from 3-point range.
Senior guard Farad Cobb led Cincinnati with 20 points. Cobb was an impressive 4-for-6 from the long range.
On the flip side, it took Arkansas-Pine Bluff until the late second half to even have a double-digit scorer; senior forward Thaddeus Henley reached 11 points with under six minutes to play.
Cincinnati will look to continue its dominance when the Bearcats face off with Southeastern Louisiana this coming Tuesday. The Golden Lions, will have a tough road test against Nebraska on Tuesday in search of a rebound victory.
