The Iowa Hawkeyes reeled off their fourth consecutive victory Tuesday night, defeating the North Dakota Fighting Hawks 84-73 in Iowa City.

Iowa senior guard Peter Jok finished with 18 points and eight rebounds, and freshman guard Jordan Bohannon added 18 points for the Hawkeyes (7-5). Freshman forward Cordell Pemsl -- who did not start Tuesday due to being late for the Hawkeyes' shoot-around earlier in the day -- finished with nine points and 11 rebounds playing 24 minutes off the bench. He missed 7 of 8 free throws.

North Dakota (5-5) had four starters score in double figures. Senior guard Quinton Hooker had a team-high 18 points. Sophomore forward Conner Avants finished with 17 points on 8-of-13 shooting. Sophomore guard Geno Crandall scored eight of his 11 points in the second half before fouling out of the game.

Fighting Hawks junior forward Drick Bernstine had the most impressive stat line of the evening, coming up two assists short of a triple-double. He tallied 10 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists.

For the first 10 minutes of thes contest, the game remained relatively tight with Iowa holding a 17-16 lead. The Hawkeyes then took advantage of Hooker being in early foul trouble, Iowa went on a 20-2 run to move ahead by 19 points before the Fighting Hawks finally managed to end a scoring drought of nearly six minutes.

North Dakota crept back late in the half to only trail by 11 points at halftime, and the Fighting Hawks got within seven points before Iowa separated itself from North Dakota for good. The Hawkeyes delivered the knockout in the final minutes when sophomore forward Nicholas Baer buried a 3-pointer to move Iowa up 78-65.

Iowa plays its final nonconference game of the season on Dec. 22 at home against Delaware State. North Dakota's next contest isn't until Dec. 29, when it opens Big Sky play at Portland State.
