Kimbal Mackenzie scored 18 points to help Bucknell beat Lehigh 81-65 in the Patriot League championship game Wednesday night at Sojka Pavilion in Lewisburg, Pa.
Zach Thomas had 17 points, nine rebounds and seven assists for Bucknell (26-8), which secured its first NCAA Tournament berth since 2013. Nana Foulland also scored 17.
Tim Kempton posted 22 points and 17 rebounds for Lehigh (20-12).
Bucknell led 35-34 at the break, but the Bison started the second half with a 12-0 run and led by as many as 18. The Mountain Hawks got within nine with five minutes remaining, but they couldn't get any closer.
