Dak Prescott threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Jalen Tolbert with 20 seconds left in the game as the visiting Dallas Cowboys rallied for a 20-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night.

Prescott, who went 29-for-42 passing for 352 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions, found Tolbert on a crossing route just inside the goal line. The score capped a 15-play, 70-yard drive that included Prescott leaping on a fumble at the Steelers 4-yard line after Rico Dowdle lost control of the ball on a second-and-goal run from the 1.

Pittsburgh (3-2) took a 17-13 lead with 4:56 remaining when Justin Fields found Pat Freiermuth for a 6-yard scoring strike that capped a 63-yard drive that lasted just over 5 1/2 minutes.

Dallas (3-2) grabbed a 13-10 edge when Prescott hooked up with Dowdle on a 22-yard touchdown pass, finishing a drive of more than 8 1/2 minutes. That answered Fields' 16-yard scoring pass to Connor Heyward on the Steelers' first drive of the second half.

Fields completed 15 of 27 passes for 131 yards for Pittsburgh, which was outgained 445-226. But the Steelers also forced three turnovers and blocked a field goal to stay in contention until Prescott delivered the game-winner just before 1 a.m. ET.

Before the start of the game, a thunderstorm hit downtown Pittsburgh right before the Steelers' lineup was about to be announced. Kickoff was delayed 85 minutes, with the game starting at 9:45 p.m.

Not much happened in the first half, although Dallas moved the ball with more consistency. But it failed to get into the end zone, settling for Brandon Aubrey field goals of 55 yards in the first quarter and 33 yards just over six minutes into the second period.

Pittsburgh's only score before halftime was Chris Boswell's 41-yard field goal at the 7:33 mark of the first quarter. The Steelers managed only 19 passing yards in the first half and trailed 6-3 at the break.
