Defenseman Keith Yandle scored to snap a tie with 1:45 remaining in the third period as the Phoenix Coyotes skated to a 3-2 triumph over the host Nashville Predators on Tuesday.

Veteran Ray Whitney scored to notch his 950th career point and Taylor Pyatt tallied nine seconds into the game for Phoenix, which has won the first two contests on its three-game road trip.

Jason LaBarbera finished with 30 saves to post his first victory since he stopped 23 shots in a 5-2 win over Nashville on Oct. 13.

Yandle netted his second goal in as many games when he wristed a shot past Pekka Rinne to silence the Music City faithful.

Captain Shea Weber leveled the contest 2-2 with 7:07 remaining in the third period. After the Coyotes were penalized for sending the puck over the glass, Weber made them pay by blasting a shot past LaBarbera for his sixth of the season.

Defenseman Jack Hillen tallied with 12 seconds remaining in the first period and Rinne had 32 saves for Nashville, which is 2-7-0 in its last nine games.

The Predators were playing without Jordin Tootoo, who was suspended for two games by the NHL after the right wing charged Buffalo Sabres goaltender Ryan Miller during Saturday's game.
