Taylor Hall scored a power-play goal at 3:06 of overtime as the Edmonton Oilers ended their five-game losing streak with a 2-1 home victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday.

Josh Green also tallied and Devan Dubnyk made 20 saves for Edmonton, which completed a 1-1-1 homestand.

The Oilers, who have scored a total of four goals over their last four games, were awarded a power play when Los Angeles' Justin Williams was called for high-sticking at 2:45 of the extra session.

Jonathan Quick stopped Ales Hemsky's slap shot from the top of the left faceoff circle, but Shawn Horcoff grabbed the rebound and backhanded it across the doorstep to Hall, who fired the puck into a vacant right side of the net to give Edmonton its third win in 15 contests.

Green, who began his career with Los Angeles, gave the Oilers a 1-0 lead midway through the first period when he redirected defenseman Jeff Petry's one-timer from the left point past Quick. It was the first NHL tally for Green since Jan. 16, 2007 while with Vancouver.

Williams tied the contest at 6:22 of the third as he tipped blue-liner Slava Voynov's one-time blast by Dubnyk. Anze Kopitar recorded his 400th career point on the play with an assist.

Quick stopped 31 shots for the Kings, who had their six-game winning streak in Edmonton snapped. Los Angeles has earned at least one point in 12 of 13 games under coach Darryl Sutter (7-1-5).
