Ducks 5, Flyers 3: Captain Ryan Getzlaf scored his career-best 26th goal and added an assist as host Anaheim bounced back from a rare home defeat.

Saku Koivu celebrated his 1,100th career game with an empty-net tally and an assist while Corey Perry notched his 29th goal for the Ducks, who improved to a league-best 22-2-2 at home. Daniel Winnik added a short-handed tally and Patrick Maroon also scored to back rookie Frederik Andersen, who turned aside 27 shots to win his fifth straight start and boost his record to 14-2-0.

Vincent Lecavalier, Matt Read and rookie Michael Raffl scored goals - the latter's coming with 10 seconds to play - for slumping Philadelphia, which dropped to 1-4-1 in its last six. Read added an assist and Steve Mason made 23 saves but surrendered four goals for the third time in his last five starts.

Despite controlling play in the opening 20 minutes, the Flyers found themselves trailing 2-1 when Getzlaf deflected a shot by defenseman Hampus Lindholm past Mason with 36 seconds left in the period. Maroon had staked the Ducks to a 1-0 lead when he tipped a knuckling shot past Mason midway through the first, but Philadelphia answered on the power play less than four minutes later as Lecavalier's one-timer from the right faceoff circle found its way past Andersen.

Anaheim extended the lead midway through the middle session when Getzlaf skated down the right wing and fired a perfect pass to Perry, who whistled a shot from the slot past Mason. The Flyers closed within a goal at 5:48 of the third, when defenseman Mark Streit unleashed a sharp-angle shot that bounced off the chest of Andersen before caroming off Read's knee and into the net, but Winnik's first tally since Oct. 10 with 7:34 to play stemmed the comeback.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Winnik appeared in his 100th game with the Ducks, who improved to 30-1-2 when leading after two periods. ... Flyers RW Steve Downie notched his 100th career assist on Lecavalier's goal, ending a 15-game stretch during which he failed to hit the scoresheet. ... Ducks C Nick Bonino suffered an upper-body injury when he absorbed a huge open-ice hit from Philadelphia C Zac Rinaldo in the first period.
