Flyers 4, Penguins 1: Brayden Schenn scored a pair of goals as visiting Philadelphia continued to torment its in-state rival with its seventh consecutive victory in the series.

Vincent Lecavalier tallied for the first time in nearly three months and defenseman Carlo Colaiacovo scored his first goal of the season as the Flyers won their fifth straight in Pittsburgh and improved to 11-1-1 at Consol Energy Center. Steve Mason turned aside 24 shots to earn only his second road win (2-12-6) and first since Dec. 6.

Captain Sidney Crosby scored his 300th career goal for the Penguins, who had their two-game winning streak halted and squandered a chance to break a second-place tie with the New York Islanders in the Metropolitan Division. Marc-Andre Fleury made 27 saves for Pittsburgh, which was forced to play with only five defensemen.

Crosby opened the scoring 3 1/2 minutes into the contest, winning a faceoff before getting to the net and tucking a rebound inside the near post for his milestone tally. Philadelphia answered on a similar play as Lecavalier won a draw and skated into the slot to deposit the rebound of Pierre-Edouard Bellemare's blast with 2:46 left in the first period.

Schenn put the Flyers ahead with 7:17 remaining in the second, regaining control of the puck and beating Fleury from the slot, before tapping in a slap pass from Jakub Voracek during a power play 49 seconds into the third. Colaiacovo added an insurance tally at the 5 1/2-minute mark by knocking home a rebound from the left faceoff circle.
